Having a bit of a drive around today. Stopped here for a light lunch. The cakes looked amazing (didn't have room to try one). The coffee was really nice and I ordered the mushroom soup... it was absolutely delicious, the best I have tasted in a long time, anywhere. Being a chef, I am hard to please, but this was something else. What a wee gem, well worth a visit.
The service was excellent and so was the dessert as that's what we went in for with a drink. No complaints here as we enjoyed it so much we will keep popping over for a drink and something to eat. ...
What a lovely treat to visit a wonderful little cafe after a trip around an equally lovely and very friendly garden centre. The cafe is full of warmth and I love the new decor, the staff are friendly. I’ve seen other negative reviews and I completely disagree. I also sometimes sit in the back room, I politely asked one of the staff to close the staff room door and it’s closed immediately without fuss. The staff can’t do enough for you, politeness goes a long way in my eyes! The prices of food and drinks are actually less than some of the comparable cafes situated in both Brighouse and Hipperholme. The food is always really good and piping hot (unless you’re having a cold meal), there’s always plenty on your plate and service is always with a smile! It has such a lovely atmosphere and I’m always made to feel welcome on each and every visit. I always go home full and happy. Well done to you all and keep doing what you’re doing
What an absolute gem. Excellent service - thank you Vicky - great menu. Whatever you order, make sure you get chips - they're in a league of their own. Can't praise the food - or the service - highly enough. Well worth a visit- will definitely come again.
Dropped in for a coffee and quick bite to eat. Quick, friendly service. Good value for money food. Very pleasant stop off.

Well once again been in and had beef baguette and chips and nice jug of gravy food so tasty and plenty staff friendly and efficient this little find just gets better look forward to next visit keep up the good work vast improvement on menu
Lovely little gem of a cafe and dog friendly too. Able to reserve a table if your ring or pop in which is great. Cakes are homemade and are lovely. Mocha is an especially nice hot drink one of the best I've tasted. Not tried the hot food yet but will be revisiting soon.
